Learning the skill and enjoyment of singing is within everyones grasp. The Red Rose Chorus has provided ‘Learn To Sing Courses’ most years but that does not stop anyone from coming down on a rehearsal night. A warm welcome awaits.
Becoming a member is as simple as turning up regularly on Thursday nights for rehearsal, which starts at 7.45pm. After about three weeks you will be given a voice test by The Musical Director, Emma McManus. This is done in private and is primarily to determine which voice part would best suit your range and what sort of musical knowledge (if any) you have. After passing a small voice test by the musical director, you will be invited to join. You will then receive a Club badge and be asked to pay the subs. The first three weeks, while you decide whether you want to join, are free.
